The wear parts range
For cone crushers, the wear set is the mantle on the head and the concave — supplied as a bowl liner in the bowl — that together form the crushing chamber. For jaw crushers it is the jaw plates. These castings are supplied in manganese steel — the catalogue lists Mn18 for concaves — and in profiles matched to chamber and duty: coarse, medium, fine and extra-fine chamber profiles for cone crushers; tooth forms selected for grizzly scalped rock, shot rock or recycled feed on jaw crushers.
Wear is a system, not a part
A mantle rarely fails alone. As the mantle and concave wear, the chamber profile opens, the closed side setting drifts, reduction falls and the plant recirculates more load — burning power and screen capacity to make the same tonnes. That is why we recommend treating the mantle and concave as a matched set and planning change-outs on profile condition rather than waiting for a wear-through. Our article on when to replace mantle and concave lists the measurable signs — setting drift, rising recirculating load, liner profile measurements — that tell a maintenance team the set is at the end of its economic life.
Getting material and profile right
Manganese steel work-hardens under impact; the same grade behaves very differently in a high-impact primary chamber and a low-impact tertiary chamber. When you enquire, the useful information is: crusher model and chamber, feed rock type and abrasiveness, current liner life in hours or tonnes, and where the wear concentrates (top, middle or bottom of the chamber). With that, we can confirm grade and profile — and, where the wear pattern shows it, suggest the profile change that moves wear back to where the steel can use it. Every wear casting is identified against its model and part number before dispatch, and where a mantle and concave are ordered as a set, the pair is specified together so the two are fitted as a pair.
Supply terms
Wear parts carry a minimum order of 1 piece, confirmed with your quotation, so a trial set in one crusher is a practical first step before a fleet-wide switch. Stock lines ship against daily-checked inventory; cast-to-order profiles carry the production lead time stated on the quotation, typically within 15 workdays in peak season for common parts. Shipments are available on FOB, EXW, CIF and FCA terms, payment by T/T or L/C. Certificates available upon request. Send your model, chamber and current part numbers and we will quote the set — not just the single casting that failed.

Tracking wear life like an accountant
The plants that get the most from this programme keep one simple record per wear set: crusher and chamber, feed type, tonnes crushed, hours run, and the wear pattern at removal. Five data points per set turn wear purchasing from folklore into arithmetic — cost per tonne by grade and profile, a change-out interval the maintenance plan can trust, and the evidence to justify a grade change when a set underperforms. We encourage buyers to share that record with the enquiry: it is the input our grade and profile recommendations are built from, and it travels with your account, so the third set you buy is specified from the measured behaviour of the first two. Wear parts will always be a consumable; with records, they become a managed consumable — and managed consumables are where crushing plants quietly find their margin.
Send us your part number or drawing
Quotes are prepared against your model, part number or dimension drawing. Minimum order is 1 piece on most catalogue parts — like the current lead time, it is confirmed with your quotation (typically within 15 workdays in peak season and about one month in the off-season).
