The jaw crusher parts spectrum
A jaw crusher has fewer wear parts than a cone crusher, but each one is big, heavy and expensive to change late. The core of our range is the jaw plate — fixed and swing (movable) plates cast in manganese steel, with tooth profiles matched to the feed: coarse, sharp teeth for grizzly-passed primary rock, flatter profiles for slabby or recycled material. Around the plates we supply the pitman (moving jaw) assembly that carries the swing plate, cheek-side wear components, and the mechanical spares listed across the catalogue — bearings, wedges, springs and adjustment components including the double-wedge discharge opening adjustment arrangement used on our own jaw crushers, which makes setting changes firm and quick.
Why jaw plates fail early — and how ordering right prevents it
Most premature jaw plate failures trace back to three causes: the wrong tooth profile for the feed, which concentrates load on tooth tips; a material grade mismatched to feed abrasiveness, so plates either wear fast or crack; and running plates past their economic life, which transfers damage into the pitman and frame seats. When you enquire, tell us the crusher model, the feed type and the current plate life you are getting. We will confirm plate profile and manganese grade against that duty instead of simply copying the last order — a profile matched to the feed, rather than a copy of the worn one, is what protects plate life.
Plates for our crushers, replacements for yours
Our own jaw crushers are proven in hard rock and recycled material service, and their plates are stocked as standard catalogue lines. For crushers from other manufacturers, plates and pitman components are supplied as replacement parts matched to the original part number or a dimension drawing — the same compatible-parts discipline we apply across the cone crusher ranges. If you are mapping a jaw station for the first time, our guide to jaw crusher parts and their functions walks through every component in the crushing chamber and frame, what it does, and how it wears.
Ordering and delivery
Minimum order is 1 piece on catalogue jaw crusher parts, confirmed with your quotation — a single swing plate for a trial is a normal order here. Quotes confirm current stock, and where plates are cast to order, the production lead time is stated with the price; peak-season lead times for common parts run within 15 workdays, off-season around one month. Shipments go on FOB, EXW, CIF or FCA terms with T/T or L/C payment. Send the model and part number, or photographs with key dimensions of the worn plate, and we will identify the correct casting before you commit.

Stocking advice for jaw stations
Jaw stations fail cheap or fail expensive, and the difference is the shelf. The cheap failures are the ones planned for: a set of jaw plates ready before the fitted set reaches its limit, a toggle plate in stores as the chamber's designed fuse, and the wedges, springs and hardware that a plate change disturbs. The expensive failures are the ones where a worn-through plate has marked the pitman, or a seized adjustment system forces hot work in the chamber. Because the minimum order across this range is 1 piece, confirmed with your quotation, keeping the insurance shelf complete costs little: list the parts whose absence would idle your primary crusher for more than a day, check them off against stores, and send us the gaps. We will quote the shelf as one consignment, identified by model and part number, so the next plate change is a routine shift rather than a recovery operation.
Send us your part number or drawing
Quotes are prepared against your model, part number or dimension drawing. Minimum order is 1 piece on most catalogue parts — like the current lead time, it is confirmed with your quotation (typically within 15 workdays in peak season and about one month in the off-season).
