Gyratory Crushers for High-Capacity Primary Crushing

When primary capacity outgrows a jaw station, the gyratory crusher takes over. Our coarse-crushing gyratory line is built for demanding duty — hard rock and ore, in fixed plants and semi-mobile installations, on the surface and underground.

Why plants step up to gyratory crushing

A jaw crusher crushes on half its cycle; a gyratory crusher crushes continuously around the full circle of its chamber. That difference is why, at high primary capacities, the gyratory becomes the economical choice: a larger feed opening accepted directly from haul trucks or loaders, a higher reduction in one machine, and a discharge that feeds the secondary step steadily instead of in surges. Our coarse-crushing gyratory crushers are specified for exactly the plants where those advantages pay — high-tonnage quarries and mines where the primary station runs long hours and its availability sets the site's output.

Duties and installations

The line serves fixed crushing plants and semi-mobile installations that are relocated as the pit develops. Applications cover hard, abrasive rock and ores in surface operations, and underground installations where the primary crusher sits below the orebody and crushed material moves on by conveyor. In each case the specification starts from the same four inputs: feed top size and gradation, required capacity, target discharge for the next crushing step, and the installation constraints of the site. We state capacity under declared feed conditions with the quotation, so the machine you compare is the machine you will receive.

Wear and spare support

A gyratory crusher's mantles and concaves are among the largest wear castings in any plant, and its spider, main shaft and eccentric components are long-lead items that reward planning. Our parts programme covers gyratory wear and spare components under the same catalogue discipline as the cone crusher mantle range: identify by machine and part number or drawing, confirm the casting or machining specification, and quote with a firm lead time. Plants that run our gyratory as the primary and our cone crushers behind it consolidate both machines' wear sets into single shipments — one supplier, one freight bill, one shutdown window.

From enquiry to commissioning

Gyratory projects are engineered purchases, and we treat them that way: technical consultation at specification, system design with the wider plant, then installation, commissioning, maintenance support and operator training after delivery. Minimum-order catalogue terms (1 piece on most parts lines, confirmed with your quotation) apply to the spares programme; the machine itself is quoted per project on FOB, EXW, CIF or FCA terms with T/T or L/C payment. Send your primary duty data — even a preliminary flowsheet — and the conversation starts from your plant, not from a model list. Certificates available upon request.

Planning the gyratory's parts future at purchase

A gyratory crusher is a decades-long asset, and its purchase is the cheapest moment to secure its parts future. The wear castings for a gyratory — mantles and concaves — are large, long-lead items; the plants that never wait for them are the ones that agreed the wear supply at the machine order: profiles recorded, first spare set priced, and the identification data (model, chamber, part numbers) lodged with both the plant and the supplier. Our programme supports that planning directly: wear and spare components for the gyratory are supplied under the same part-number discipline as the cone crusher range, and combined shipments with cone crusher wear sets keep freight proportional. When you request a gyratory quotation, ask for the parts annex with it — the document that lists what the machine will consume, in what order, and how each item is identified when the day comes to order it.

Send us your part number or drawing

Quotes are prepared against your model, part number or dimension drawing. Minimum order is 1 piece on most catalogue parts — like the current lead time, it is confirmed with your quotation (typically within 15 workdays in peak season and about one month in the off-season).
