The platform in the range
Our own equipment range is built around crushing and screening machines: jaw crushers, hydraulic cone crushers in single-cylinder and multi-cylinder designs, and vibrating screens. The single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher is the range’s single-cylinder platform. It is a maker’s range: the same works that builds the machines casts and machines the wear and spare parts behind them, which is why this site can speak about the machines and the parts programme in one voice. What the published description states
The company’s equipment pages describe the single-cylinder platform by its operating character, in three terms: higher crushing efficiency, lower production cost and better product quality. That is the whole of the published description this page works from, and it is stated here exactly rather than expanded. The description publishes no structure breakdown for the platform — no account of its hydraulic arrangement, its shaft support or its chamber geometry — and it publishes no feed table and no capacity table for the platform. This page therefore claims none of those things for it: not a crushing stage, not a list of feed materials, and not a capacity figure. That restraint is deliberate: a platform description stretched beyond its source would read better and mean less, and buyers matching a crusher to a duty are better served by the exact published terms and a quotation process that works from their actual feed. Where a duty has to be matched to this platform, the matching is done in the quotation, from the feed, product and capacity information the buyer sends and the company’s current product documentation.
The wear and spare programme behind the machine
A machine from this range is supported by the same factory’s parts programme: mantles and concaves from the wear parts programme, and the mechanical spares of the spare parts programme, identified by model and part number. The first wear set is specified with the machine, and the critical spares are agreed before shipment rather than after the first breakdown.
